MISSION STATEMENT:
To build a family of believers who bring pleasure to God as we love Him completely (Reaching Up), love one another unselfishly (Reaching In), and reach out to the world in Christ’s love (Reaching Out).
VISION:
A Healing Presence in a Hurting World. Our vision is to be a missional presence as a church and as individuals at work, school and leisure.
CORE VALUES:
- We Value Jesus Christ – He matters in our everyday lives. “He must become greater; I must become less.” (John 3:30)
- We Value the Scriptures – The Bible is taught for life change. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (II Timothy 3:16)
- We Value Discipleship – Real followers of Jesus are Disciples. “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son…” (Romans 8:29a)
- We Value Groups – Growing larger and smaller at the same time. “Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.” (Acts 2:46)
- We Value Ministry – Every member is a minister with spiritual gifts God uses to advance His Kingdom. “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” (I Corinthians 12:7)
- We Value Stewardship – Giving to promote the Kingdom. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)
- We Value Relevance – The Message doesn’t change but the Methods Do. “I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.” (I Corinthians 9:22b)
- We Value People – People matter to God and they matter to Us. “Come follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)
